Using a web project

A web project is a First Page 2006 file that stores information about web documents and other files that are associated with a particular web site or other web-displayed project. It is a useful way to quickly deal with any aspect of a particular project.

To create a web project:

  1. Click on the Projects tab tab in the Side Panels display.

  2. Click on the Project Manager button.

  3. Click on the New Project... menu option.

  4. Enter the name for the project in the Project Name field.

  5. Choose the project type and the principal language for the project from the Website Type and Language Environment drop-down lists. These settings are for your reference only and do not effect the project itself.

  6. Add any additional information to the Project Notes field, if required.

  7. Click on the Create Project button.
